Cordial Motor Ride from Pilathara to Thalakaveri on World Disabled Day 2020
The wheelchair travelers group Dream Riders Kannur, conducted a cordial motor ride from Pilathara to Thalakaveri on world disabled day 2020 led by Pilathara Lions Club associated with organization for uplifting differently abled individuals Inspire. The trip was flagged off by Kalyasseri MLA Sri. TV Rajesh.
The differently abled travel allowance was given to who the trip leader Bashir Panapuzha by Lions Club members. Basheer Panapuzha is a well-known differently abled person who had conducted trip to Mumbai and Ooty and so on with his modified Nano car controlled by hand. In connection with the differently abled week festival Inspire handed over the Youth Award to Ms. Rizwana is a part of the recognition of especially skilled individuals in 14 districts of Kerala. Rizwana, is a differentially abled artist participated in all India Malayalee association festival in Jaipur in Rajasthan representing BRC in February 2020
The entrepreneurship based at Kannur for supporting farmers by giving an opportunity to sell their products online, famiyocart.com supplied the refreshment kits for the differently-abled travellers. In connection with this event famiyocart.com supplied the refreshment kits to Ashraya (self-help group for blinds) and Hope charitable society Pilathara. The kits were sponsored by Sushil Kumar dedicated to his friend Santosh Monterio and his family in Philippines. The refreshment kit included Jackfruit products from a differentially abled individual Anwar Babu from Malappuram who has undergone more than 43 surgeries from the age of 15. Now Anwar Babu associates with famiyocart.com as a vendor for selling his Jackfruit products online.
The event was presided by Siddharth Vannarath, President of Lions Club. Representative of Inspire group Unni Puthur, Shanil Charuthazham, KV Rajesh JCI Pilathara, Lions District authority K.V. Ramachandran, Club officers Purushothaman, T.S Vishwanath, Volunteers Leader Rafiq, Trip Leader Basheer Panapuzha, famiyocart representative Nishanth.P. P. addressed the event.
This program encouraged the will power helped to build emotional support for the differentially abled people. They seemed to be very happy and content after the trip. The organizers of the trip got motivation to give more support for the differentially abled people from this event.
